Default Looking for a point in the right direction.

Looking to find where I can get custom made wheel lettering, the ones that go around the outside of the rim. These wheels will be the set up I will use at this years Land/Speed trials in Loring Maine (I'm looking to hit 212 mph in 2012). I want them to look like they fit the car and durablity is not real important so long they last one day. I would like to put the sponsors names in the band around the wheels. The donor wheels are Y2k Vette 17/18 wheels painted white. Also looking for caliper decals made with carbon fiber look-a-like material. The car is white with extensive use of "Real" carbon fiber. The wheels, body and calipers are white the rest is dry carbon fiber.

Suggestion please, I have spent hours searching Google and Ebay with no luck.

Sorta like this (top one).....the donor wheels are 17" front 18" rear so the decals need to fit the right curve on the outside edge. I would like it to say Speedline Pro-comp Forged Alloy(two per wheel). I would also like very small curved lettering of each wheel of about 1/8 to 1/4 inch high. Those lettering are AUS, USA, GER, Italy and UK (for where the wheels are distrubuted) they will be on afixed on each spoke near the center cap on each wheel. So I will need 5 of each.

The wheels are powder coated white, I would like the lettering to be red.

Thank you for your advise or assistance.

Jim

Just go to any local Sign Shop that makes vinyl lettered signs - take in a sketch of what you want (i.e. text, font, size, color, and the radius you want the lettering to be made on) they will make you up double sided vinyl decals - lettering will be on backing release paper and there will also be a cover release paper over the text. That way you pull off the backing paper, apply the decal, rub down well, pull off top release paper. The top release paper will hold the individual letters of the text in place/alignment while applying.

I know, the first quote I got from a sign shop was more than I paid for the wheels.
