Default heater core replace help..

The whole dash has to come out.... its a serious job. Are you sure its not something more simple?

Not sure what else it can be. I already replaced the thermostat and made sure it was full of coolant. My dash Is completely cracked so it Might not be to hard.

You don't have to remove the dash, just the glove box. it's a 2 hour job.

I did remove the box and could not see it. What else needs to be removed

the 4 bolts..... its a really really simple job..

simple job. remove the 2 clamps in the engine bay. the glove box, and the plastic cover over the heater core. 2 hours max and thats if you take a 1 hr break lol

Its a 30 min job. remove glove box, bolts to heater core cover. remove hoses to heater core, replace heater core, plug hoses back up, tighten bolts to cover back down, replace glove box, fill coolant and ride out

I still say it's a 2 hour from start to finish if it's your first one.

Guess I was thinking the whole heater/air box assembly came out as one.
