Austin welders: can anyone weld dissimilar materials for a turbo project? Background information on what I am trying to do: https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...nifolds-2.html The procedure looks pretty simple.
I have a pair of C6 manifolds I have chopped the flange off and need to weld a straight piece of 2.5" exhaust pipe onto and then a vband. I will supply this. This is for a DIY C6 manifold turbo kit for an LS1 fbody.
Would be gladly willing to pay out of pocket to get this done., if you think you can help, let me know. Reply or shoot me a PM.
