long time listener , first time caller. sidetracked ls1/t56 project Ok,i'm 26, i've had about 40 cars, a Honda technician (ducks), I like EVERYTHING that has to do with machines , motors, electricity, guns, woodworking,outdoors/indoors .... I'm a man I suppose sums it up.
Well enough with the dating site babble , I traded a 94 bmw (e36) sedan , for a 98 camaro z28 6spd. everything was awesome, car needed quite a bit of elbow grease but drove good and it was a blast to drive.... however only about three weeks into owning it , the little things it needed caught up with me ,(no abs, no front sway bar, blown shocks) and I lost control driving about 50mph when i tried to brake hard... and i totaled the car. being poor as I am and liking to make my life miserable I opted to part out the car and swap the motor into something more.... petite.
After looking at all my options I decided to buy an 87 rx7 , and well i'm goint to take the motor out of that and put the ls1/t56 into it... as funds from the partout and rotary motorset , and both my jobs allow. for now i thought i'd introduce myself and what i'm hopefully going to be doing in the near future.
I'm married btw so don't pm me with date inquiries ... unless you are really really hot , and a female.
To give you a slight look into my automotive preferences here's a list of vehicles I've owned :
