Default 427 build

Darton sleeved block. LS2 dry sleeve.4" stroke and 4.125 bore.
Manley rotating assembly.
10.8:1
LS3 heads and LS3 intake. 1.875 long tube headers.
Car is 2900 lbs. 3.50 gears. Built 4L60E. 3200 Yank stall converter.
Local LS builder suggests a cam with Intake 230 and 239 exhaust. .610 on intake and .540 on exhaust.113 lobe center.
Does the .540 seem a bit low?
This car will be a street driver. No power adders.
Would like some opinions.

Heads and intake ported or stock? With a 427 porting would provide a good gain for the money.

At 2900 lbs, this should be a lot of fun on the street - what kind of car?

Would be a lot more fun if you ran a blower with compression around 9.5.
Good set of injectors and a roller blower cam.
Now thats a Hell of a Lot of fun.

67 Nova is the car.
Trying to do somewhat of a budget build. Had the LS3 stuff. Build the bottom end so I don't have to mess with it. Top end stuff can I change or improve as time and cash allows.

My real question was on the cam specs. Haven't bought anything yet just wodering about the .540 on the exhaust lift.

Thanks

I should of said stock LS3 intake and heads.

Cam wise I was thinking 230I/235E about .610 lift on intake and exhaust. 114 C/L. I know it seems mild but again as I mprove stuff like heads and intake I can move up to a bigger cam.

This guy has done a ton of R&D with L92/LS3 heads over a couple of years. From 403 to 427. Stock heads, WCCH Stage 2 and 3 heads. Multiple CR's, cams, etc. etc. etc....
