Default 2001 Formula Fuel Pump Issue

I'm stumped with this one. The car sputtered and died, and had no fuel pressure at the rail. The fuel pump wasn't powering on with the key. I replaced the fuel pump and still nothing. I don't have any power at the plug on top of the fuel pump. If I jump the relay under the hood, the fuel pump will power on. Has anybody ever ran into this before?
Thanks,
Jeff

It sounds like you just have a bad relay,, If you just jump it and it works, then the relay is the problem, Unless you are not getting the signal to the relay, and yes the relays fail all the time.
heres a schematic hope it helps

I am not getting any spark either. I jumped the relay and tried to start it, and nothing. I tried another PCM out of my buddies TA and nohing. I bought a crank position sensor to try next. Any other thoughts? Thanks

Well it runs again. The ground wires on the back of the head had broken off.
