Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - 08 g8 gt or 08 bmw m5

ok guys so in january me and my wife are getting a new car we were thinking a 08 g8 gt or a 08 bmw m5 but i dont know much about this cars can you guys help me out

Honestly, it would depend on the deal I found.
The G8 interior is nice, but a BMW will ne nicer. The G8 will be cheaper to mod and maintain.

HUGE price difference if you are looking at a 30-50kmi M5.... Serious question?

thats true guys the bmw is 47k and g8 is 23k and cts-v is 25k and it has a better interior than the g8 my wife love it thanks guys

That price would be a gen 1 V. You want a 09 CTS-v so you have the LSA and better rear. Plus you can get an auto trans. There coming down in price. Just have to watch for the deals.

Since you'll have kids back there, the G8 has more room in the backseat an trunk.

Drivetrain would be like a G8. Brakes and magnetic ride control will be a bit more expensive than a G8's parts, but I doubt any worse than a BMW. Aftermarket parts are pricey but comperable to the G8 or Gen5. Plus the V doesn't need suspension mods or a loose torque converter to run fast. The V does gets fewer mpg though.

The two cars are not comparable in any respect really...

It's purely a matter of preference.
