Picked up a set of reflective red GTO letters for the rear bumper. I think it would look a lot better if that insert was satin black, so I want to paint it. Wondering if any of you guys can comment on if it would be easier to pull it or tape it off. I would like to get it off, but there's a cover under there and I don't want to just go ripping shit off since I don't know what I'm doing.

If you don't mind taping it it shouldn't be that big a deal just time consuming. I'd personally do that if you don't have a guide to remove AND putting it back together. That part is usually harder if you don't keep track of what went where. It's too easy to get distracted when taking something new to you apart.

Taking the insert and off should take about 30 seconds, and putting it back on is just as easy. There's nothing you can really mess up, it's just tabs that slide into certain spots and have never broken any after taking mine off several times.

Where did you find reflective "GTO" insert stickers at? I need some blue ones for mine. I've googled and came up empty...

thanks...
