Pontiac GTO 2004-2006 - Superchips Programmer

I want to buy a superchips programmer but i want to know if i have to take it to a shop to have it programed for my GTO or does it come already with the tune?

Yes it should. My diablo sport was easy to use and i deleted ses light from exhaust. I dont know if you have a auto but you can make it shift faster and harder. The tune i did was the preset tune but i made it.idle lower also put a rev limiter on changed when fans come on and everything. I bought mine from summit for 286 with interface for pc. This is for a bird should be similar for a goat. The diablo is a great tuner.

dont waste your money on a universal programmer, find a performance shop local who can dyno tune it and dial it in for the mods you do have/ plan to have for the same money youd spend on a superchip

Custom Tune!!! hand helds are a waste!!

I got my "street tune" from Jeremy Formato, one of the best in FL for $300. IMO, for the price of a street tune, I wouldn't waste money on a handheld.
