a Duramax diesel sounding Z-28
why, when its cold outside and i'm first starting my Z does it knock so hard it sounds like a diesel? and it keeps doing it until it reaches full operating temp. i wish i knew how to do a sound bite cus this thing really sounds like $hit. does anyone else have this problem? my instructor at Lincoln tech said it could be a flow problem but that is a little beyond my level to deal with at this point in my schooling. i don't even know what that means yet

Since my daily driver has been down I have driven my Z28 around in the cold weather and I must admit that I was shocked when I heard my car from the outside on a cold start-up. I have never been outside my car when it was started while being "cold" outside and damn the thing does make some noise. It does not stick around very long, but I know what people have been clammering about now.
