Default Need Help! Custom Cam/LS6 Heads, Clutch, or Fast 92/92

So need some help making a decision... I'm deciding if I should either get a Fast 92/92, Monster clutch level 3, or LS6 heads & a custom cam? I got 91,xxx miles & my stock clutch & its starting to go out when I do WOT passes. I do have another car that I can drive though. The Fast 92/92 is a pretty good deal. But I do also have a LS6 intake? Probably leaning towards a clutch...

Yea I would definitely do the clutch, you'll thank yourself later. If your stock clutch isn't holding your power as is, its gonna be even worse if you add more power. And the monster will give you lots of room to grow

Fast won't work good unless you have heads and cam and to have heads and cam youll need a clutch so in order:
1) clutch
2) heads and cam
3) intake
Unless you have the money to do them at the same time.

I voted for heads and cam but didnt read the post first LOL, if your clutch is going do it first, however why not get clutch/heads it would probably be about the same price as a heads/cam install/

if your doing the work yourself, do a clutch/cam install cams can be had for pretty cheep

what is your budget anyways? you could possibly get a nice cam, stock 243 heads and a clutch all in your budget.

That pretty much sums it up. Power is no good unless you can put it to the pavement. The FAST really needs high flow cylinder heads before it can show the big gains over the LS6 intake.

^This.

Plus the LS6 intake has the capability to flow more than the 243 heads can handle. You don't really benefit much from a FAST intake until you get better flowing heads.

I didn't vote because I'd go with a level 2, as long as you plan to stay n/a a level 3 is overkill. I'd rather keep the good driving manners of a full faced clutch.

Ill call BS to not needing a FAST on stock heads. I know several guys that gained 20+ on a cam only app over the LS6. OP in your case id say clutch. That FAST really isnt that good of a deal for 600, id wait for a 102 to pop up, used ones are going for 700 or so by themselves if you look hard

If your clutch is already slipping more power won't do you any good
