Default new cam help!

i have a 2006 ls2 corvette and it currently has longtubes to xpipe, borla exhaust. im looking for a cam BUT this is a daily driver and i do no want to badly affect the drive of the car. ive hear to stay under a 600 lift? but if not i understand i would have to replace the stock springs to duals.

my goal is to hit aprx. 450 NA? maybe a bit more but the LSA is gonna be atleast 112-113 i like the chopping sound

what size is a good DD for a this car? thanks

You will need a 102 Fast intake manifold, an underdrive pulley, the cam for you is something like a 230/234 with a 114 + 2 lsa and a good tune. This is assuming you are a MN6 transmission. The parts listed will get you to around 440 rwhp.

There are plenty of really good beehive valve springs on the market today, that are very durable and dependable that can handle big lifts and aggressive lobes. PAC Racing sells some of the BEST beehives on the planet. As far as a cam spec goes, something in the 234/242 .590/.595 114 range will do what you want. Any intake manifold like others have mentioned will hit your goal easy, but 430+ is likely depending everything else in the combo is right and the tuner is smart.

Keep the LSA wide then. (114-116)
