Question C5 fuel rail covers

I wanted to clean up the clutter around the fuel rails/coil packs area and make it look a little more professional by buying some C5 fuel rail covers. I found some on a few web sites, and they all say "SOME MODAFICATION REQUIRED". I was wondering what kind of modifying I was going to have to do, and after I was done was it going to look like crap or a nice clean install.

All that needs to be done is cutting of the FRC's. If you get the newer FRC's you will need to cut another slot for the 2nd fuel rail. You also need to cut them to fit the dipstick, AIR tubes, TB, and other things towards the back of the motor. A dremel tool is a nice thing to have for this. Its not that hard to do, mostly just trial and error.

There are several personal sites showing how the fuel rail covers were modified to fit the f-body. I just typed "fuel rail covers" in Yahoo's search engine and up they came!

I bought a set of FRC's painted som from parbreak. They were a little tough to get them fitted just right, but now that I have them where I want them - there is no substitute. They look so great painted in SOM!!! Thanks parbreak!

You are very welcome. I just wish I had the SOM car to go along with my covers instead of this damn black!!
