Default Do Cartek heads perform?

I'm thinking about buying a used set of Cartek Stage 2 heads. I was told they have ferrea valves and comp 918's in them but the website says REV valves and single springs. The springs might be right but isnt Ferrea and REV totally different? I thought REV was part of ISKY?
Anyway, how well do these heads perform? How do they compare to TEA stage 2 heads with dual springs? I'm hoping to ad 40-45rwhp with TEA Stage 2 5.3L heads with 11.0 c/r on my M6 with LS6 intake, Grott headers and a 226/226 .581/.581 112 LSA. What can I expect from the Cartek's?

Owners of Carteks heads love them of course. I can say one thing...the track times are definately there on the cartek cars from what I see. Of course,I'm bias as I bought their package....after way toooo much research.

I had cartek's older style regular stage II heads that i bought 1.75 years ago, and match with their cam of 222/224, .567 lift and 113lsa, it was always good for high 11 sec. time slips and even mid 11 sec tims slips once i went with 3.73s gears and my radical Yank, Prothruster 4000 stall.

I have a 98 A4 C5 and my set up always dynoed between 370 and 384rwhp and 400rwtq. The heads are very decent when matched with proper cam, but if you could afford it i would look to buy something even better like MTI or GTP heads or some other popular current heads on the market. However, if the price is right and thats all you want to spend, GO FOR IT!

cartek has some sick heads and cam cars out there. You can't go wrong with their packages. I say go for it. My car is there right now getting ready to be worked on. This will be a fun and very fast season for me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
