Default Will I kill my stock tranny with 100 shot spraying though shifts?

Just bought a nitrous outlet kit recently and I am planning on running a 100 shot on occasion. Car has full bolt-ons with 46k miles. How long can I excpect my tranny to live hitting it with a 100 shot of nitrous a couple times on the weekends? Planning to spray through shifts.. Normally only spray it from second gear rolls like 45-100. So only usually spraying through the 2-3 gear shift. What do you guys think?

If you leave torque management it probably will live. but id still get a window switch and shut it off before the shift. i beat the hell out of my 4l60e and it never died. they get a bad rep, dont know why..... but they arnt pieces of **** everyone makes them out to be. I made easily 100+ passes at the track with my converter heads and cam and probably 20 on 100 shot of nitrous.

The confidence or transmission lol? Or both? I hope my tranny will go 100k miles or more. I have changed fluid in it already and always kept it at the right level. Also have a big cooler on it.

It will live for a long time on just a 100 since its just a bolt-on car.

Holly **** that's impressive! How much did you gain mph wise with the 150 shot?

Id have to go look at my timeslips but if I remember correctly it went 12.2 at 108 on motor. So 16mph on a 150 but that nitrous also knocked my 60ft down from 1.69 to 1.37. Thats what help shave off a ton of time. Not to bad for being on 26inch radials

I have blown up 4 of them 4L60E's in my stock with a few bolt-ons 98Z. Motor screams but tranny crashes. I just installed a turbo 350 and I hear it won't last either. But I am going to try it this week end. I think the problem with mine is that the tune is not right. I have had several people mess with it but never got it right. .....

If you have had 4 go out you have another problem... Are you keeping your fluids at the right level? Keeping it cool. Change your fluid every so many miles? I have a big tranny cooler, change my fluid, and keep my levels right. Thats just strange if you have gone through 4 of them with bolt-ons. Where did you get the 3 after you stock one at ? Were they rebuilt or what?
