08 C6 Z06 (507whp) vs 01 Viper (560whp) Mods:
C6 Z06 - Headers/Intake/Ported TB and Intake/Tune (507whp) - Driver 240lb
Viper - Cam/Bolt-on's/Weight reduction (No interior/No Front window/Plastic Rear Window) 560whp - Driver 170lb.
I saw a couple of videos on here (Vette vs. Viper) so I called up a friend of mine to come out for a couple of fun runs. Might not be the same, since his car should be the same or a little lighter than my Z, but fun none the less. You might reconize the intro, since someone posted one of my videos with the Z against a 458 here awhile back. Enjoy

just curious how did the viper get to 560whp with just bolt ons. Does it have any engine mods, internal. I ask because there about 450-460hp at the motor and thats a big difference. It was hella fast and cant beat that V10 sound.

I believe he has a cam, so maybe not only bolt-ons. I know he dynoed 560whp. Not to familiar with the vipers.

Viper probally still weighs a bit more. That model is 3430 pounds stock. Maybe 3230 if the interior is completely gutted and has the lexan rear glass.. But vipers are so sparse theres not to much to gut.
Check with your friend and make sure he just has a cam.
410 stock
470 with every bolt on plus tune
90 rwhp from just a cam would be crazy unless its a monster and barely streetable
Perhaps mild heads and cam?
