Default does anyone have a video of a grand am cup/showroom stock cam?

I have looked everywhere, i cant find a video of someone using this cam. Can someone post something please! I wanna hear it!

From ls1sounds.com...only one I have ever seen and heard. Cam is 239/251 .570"/.570" 106LSA

oh my!! where was this cam when i was searching for weeks at a time!??!? wonder how it performs? just guessing but it probably has to rev to the moon!

I have heard 450rwhp with gmpp ls6 ported heads. Reliable and high revving. Power at 6.5k

With all the duration, the things power band is up there...not gonna start pulling hard till about 4000 or so. Its gonna be all top end oriented.

But I think its designed to a have a somewhat broad band.

Unless you are road racing id leave it alone as it was designed to be put in a stock LS6 and go racing

Go for it then, get some stock LS6 heads CNCd and buy the complete cam kit off SDPC parts

Not with that 106 lsa...its gonna be peaky. Kinda like a trex, itll be mediocre till about 4000, then pull like a frieght train till it tops out. If you want a broad power band you need a 113 -115 lsa on a cam like the grand am cup cam.

This is right on. My friend did this set-up years ago. It's a nasty bitch. It oulls right to 7400. He made a little over 450whp with poopy mac headers and not a great tune. With a fast and good headers and a better tune I think it could make 470 or so.

Big duration with a very tight lobe separation angle...its gonna buck and surge down low. Even with a good tune, which is what makes a car driveable, its gonna be rowdy.
