I got the move in the C5, Lost by about 1 1/2, No one was at the exact finish but right before it is where the "finish" video was taken. GTR was tuned and so on. I didn't ask him what he had done since he didn't ask me what I had done, So I dont know what was done to the GTR. But a few people said bolt ons and a tune.

shouldve asked him for another run..if u couldve stayed off the rev limiter and shifted a bit quicker it prolly wouldve been a different outcome..good run though..hard to beat the awd turbo automatic

Yeah I tried to ride third out, but went alittle to far. But I banged the gears out. I'll make the rematch happen one day. I raced him from a light randomly about 3 weeks ago (video) and we met up at a meet in mexico last sunday. But I snaped a belt (Issue fixed) in the run from the light and ended up needing a tow home.

Cool video.
Bolt-on + tune GTR's will make around 500awhp on 93 octane.
Bolt-on + tune + E85 fuel will make closer to 600awhp.

Knowing your setup/power would make it easier to determine what the GTR had.

I know that GTR...lol. He runs low 11's at MIR. Intake, Exhaust, Cammed, and tuned... The owner of the car is handicap... he comes to the locals meets around the Maryland area also... He was supposed to race my buddies 300C but got scared when we showed up... I think he got tuned at P-Tuning in VA or AMS in Gaithersburg...

I seriously doubt the GTR is "cammed." The VR38DETT is not an LS motor. Replacing the cams isnt a go-to modification. Replacing the cams (plural) is not as simple as replacing the cam(singular) in an LS1. Nobody modifiying GTRs wastes the time and money to replace cams on a basic bolt on car for minimal power gains. If it was a fully built engine with upgraded turbos....then maybe. But the GTR in the video sure didnt look like a highly-modified GTR.

What do you mean by the owner of the car is handicap? Like he can't figure out the launch control and paddle shifter? Or is he literally a disabled person? Just curious
