im sorry for asking so many dumb questions lately, but i finally got my ls2 short block !!! woop woop. well im plan im doing stock l92 heads, a custom grind nitrous cam. and some pistons..

but hows the holley hi ram intake ? i havent read much about them, and i searched but didnt really come up with alot. are they worth the money ? do they make respectable power ?

I've heard great things about them on Big Cube and nitrous motors ad sold a few. I'm hoping to see someone try some back to back on a Holley vs an Edelbrock Pro-Flo
When ready if you need a killer deal on any manifolds let me know.

they are a very good intake, one of the best out, especially for the price

Here is mine on my 443. Waiting on my gaskets so I can check ptv on the cam, then get it ready to go into the car.

would it be overkill for a stock bore ls2 on boost ?

whish they would make one that actually fits on a car that came with a LS engine LOL

I dig that intake. I'm waiting for cathedral port version

I'll be blue in the facebefore it happens but I would run this if they made it for LS7 heads.

There are not too many dyno test's out there on the intake, but Richard did one and it's a good read:

slippi they plan to release one for cathedral port heads too.

I have no direct experience but I'm thinking that intake for a boost setup (turbo?) on top of a 6.0 liter might like rpms a lot. So I think you'd have to think about max rpm limit, and picking the right cam to keep your power in the range that you are seeking.
