MAP sensor code error

MAP sensor code error Long time lurker first time poster..
We have installed a 2004 GTO LS1 into a 97 jeep TJ. W are getting MAP codes from the ECM. The code read with TORQUE for Android says thre is too much difference between MAP and barometric pressure. On the graph the MAP reads about half scale (forgot the numbers) but the barometric reads zero with the engine off.
So here is the question. How is the barometric pressure measured ?
Also there is a custom tune (from lt1swap.com) and modified harness with no rear o2 sensors.

Are you using the harness/ECM/sensors from the 04 GTO? The code you are referring to is not a code that should come in on an 04 GTO - the barometric pressure is read by the MAP sensor... some makes/models have two different sensors, but GM's use the MAP sensor to update the barometric readings. What is the exact number of the code coming in? (i.e. is it a P0069?)
Check the MAP sensor value with the ignition ON and the engine OFF - 103 kPa is the approximate value near sea level. This value will decrease by approximately 3 kPa for every 305 meters (1,000 feet) of altitude. If it is off, the sensor probably needs replaced or you don't have the correct sensor to match the scaler values in the tune...
