Master Power Guru's what is This turbo?
I bought this new from another member as a T76 but When I research the specs I can't come up with a match.
All the info on the turbo and as I measured:
Compressor wheel 76.5mm X 103.5mm
Compressor housing A/R .66 NB097, inlet approx 140mm/5.5", V-band outlet 65mm id, 75mm od, 85mm od of V, lazer etched inside 807454 07H1
Turbine wheel 78.52mm X 87.80mm
Turbine housing A/R 1.05, NB079, 05K, id of oulet 81mm/3.189", lazer etched inside: 8012(55)<I think also 05L1

I haven't found any GT45 that has that large of a turbine section.
Was planning to use this on my all steel '62 Chevy II:
'03 Lq4 bottom end, ARP studs, LS9 gaskets, LS9 heads, Comp cam 220int/218exh @ .050, 581/562 lift 116+4 (comp and cam motion recommended simalar specs), undecided on intake although I have GMPP single w/elbow and 90mm TB (if Holley will fit w/ stock hood probably get 1 for looks), 80 injectors w/AEM driver box, van PCM, 4L80e w/PTC (haven't ordered) t-brake, 9" 3.50 gear, split mono's, assasan bars, AJE strut front end, A/C, full interior 8.50 moly cage, 275/60 drag radials. probably in the neighborhood of 3300lbs. Max rpm 6000-6200, 92 octane ( might do E85 tune but that is dying out and my injectors would be maxed). Car will be DRIVEN alot long distances.
Considering switching to twins because I want it sleeper quiet and full dual exhaust is easier to hide than large single. But I'm on the fence. I want as much power as the stock pistons with a good tune will handle, quick spool and good fuel mileage all of which have influence my parts selction so far (except intake Hi-Ram just looks soooo BAD!).
For you Carcraft readers this is a compareble style to the blue Nova on this months cover except not as ratty.
The car build is here:

Haven't started yet other than ordering parts, front clip, DSE tubs, springs, bars, and sliders. Engine has been together for a yea.r, was putting it in my Malibu but put stock 5.3 in it instead

So is 1 of these good for a single in my application? Is 2 a better match? or single precision or twin 6762's? There's not a lot of room on a chevy II front to back for plumbing and I was considering going ahead and installing 25.5 bars under car while I have it on rotisserie. Stock floor pan car so not as much required but still alot to plumb exhaust around and try to hide.

I have a customer (whos modified mini tractor pulling video I posted) who's runnin two of these, now with 1.22 t/housings. In his 10l methanol engine, these generate max boost at some 2200rpm. Max power calculated from the pulling performance is around 2000hp.
If you want some driveability, you should go for a smaller throttle body than 90mm and use max 3" OD IC piping. And don't use big BOV like 50mm TiAl lag maker but Synapse Engineering DV series that's fast in action doesn't drain the whole pipework causing the turbo to work extra.
Just my .02

Ive used that turbo on a 6.0 except with the smaller 68.9 compressor wheel. Made 603rw on 14psi through a 4L80E. I would definately use that unit, I dont think you will be disappointed. I was going to send mine in to Forced Inductions to have the wheel upgrade to a 76 but ended up with a PT7675 instead. I think that unit will get you to at least 750rwhp. Mine spooled great and was a very fun car. Ran 10.45 at 132 on 17lbs (650rw?) in a 3400lb Nova with soft launch on 0 boost.

Good thing I have an old Miller Dialarc HF and the skills to use it. LOL
That was one of my concerns as I'm pretty certain it's a pretty good choice of turbo for my existing combo but if I switch to say a forged 408 w/big head studs or Lsx block, I'm going to want to upgrade to say something along the lines of a PT88 and I'm not going to be too thrilled about modding and receramic coating the plumbing.
