Here it is, 1968 Camaro 454. A new future wife and a new very old home is the reason for selling this car that I love. This car is a very nice driver that I take to car shows and car hang outs and get nothing but compliments and thumbs up. It does need some work to be complete and could be done over the winter quickly and for little money. The main area of work needed is the interior, second being minor suspension work. The headliner, dash pad, carpet and rear seats are in great shape. The front seats need new covers and the some metal dash parts like the glove box are out and need to be painted and reinstalled. The suspension is older and it needs things like ball joints and bushings. These are all very easy things and inexpensive things to do. Seat cover are about $200 through year one a suspension rebuild kit is about $250. I would also put an original steering wheel back in, hook up the speedo and the side glass has some scuffs.

The car was painted about 5 years ago and it looks like they did new fenders, quaters, door skins and a really nice cowl fiberglass hood. I put on new bfg drag radial tires, the front tires have about 85% left and it sits on prostar wheels. I installed a new msd probillet distributor, new windsheild and back glass with trim, optima yellow top battery and it has newer front shocks.

Here is a list of highlights.

-Mild build 454 big block with a cam,750 holley double pumper, headers with dual flowmasters, performer rpm intake.
-Turbo 400 mild build with a 2700 stall.
12 bolt rear end with 342s,make it driveable on the highway.

This car looks, runs and drives great. It sounds like a million bucks and is very fun to cruise around. I dont have a stack of paper work that goes with the car, it is what you see. Just a great car with a clean title in hand from an honest long time ls1tech member.

That is a '67. Or a '68 that had fenders, quarters and a grill/turning bulbs swapped. '68 Camaro's had square turning bulbs in the grill, not round. They also had side marker lights in the fenders and quarter panels. It was a federal regulation for 1968. Nice car though regardless of the year!

No track times or dyno numbers. Its a mild 454 so probably a 13sec car. This isnt a race car just a sweet cruiser that sounds like a million bucks. As far as mileage, if I had to guess id say about 7-8 mpg. Its a 3 speed big block car from the 60s, not going to get good mileage at all.
