It's hard to say how he had wired it....you basically need to make sure he has all his battery and key on powers and grounds for the PCM and for then fuel pump

lets say he wired it right

isn´t there some security lock

like when i swapped engine and harness from 2004 vette in a 2003 vette, then i needed to pair the PCM and the bcm toghether so i could start up

is it similuar in a 1993 S10

thanks

Yes it's the same procedure turn of vats and if the 1993 s10 is the 1st gen then there is no bcm

hi

it´s 98 Camaro T56 harness and PCM

I think the wiring is wrong to fuel pump

ok i turned VATS off

and the car just started , no fuel and no spark

we went over wires and we found out that he forgotte to fasten 2 grounds near the ignition back off the driversside head , we fixed that

started the car , the ignition came in but still no fuel, i commanded fuel pump "on" in the scanner and i heard a click in relay but the fuel pump was still off. No fuel to rails

So would you say that it´s wiring related or am i missing something in the tune maby

thanks

Well if u commanded the fuel pump and heard the relay click but but couldnt hear fuel pump it's possible that the fuel pump is bad or the wiring to pump is bad.... How did he wire in the pump???? did he retain the original wiring for fuel pump and just wire the ground from relay to PCM ?

The Signal from the PCM to the Relay is 12v...if it's clicking it's working. I'd check the wiring on the Pump to the Relay, and the ground for it.
