Does anyone have pics of the BMR weld on relocation brackets and LCA's installed on their vehicle? I just put them on, and I want to see if I did it right. Not that it would really matter seeing as how I already welded them up. Just curious if anyone has pics.

Surely somebody has pics of these installed. I really need to see if I did it right. It appears that the tires are sitting too far back in the wheel well. Also the rear is not centered correctly. It is further back on one side than on the other. I'm really starting to think that I did it wrong.

If the rearend postion has moved, you did it wrong.

The control arm should be able to go in all 3 holes without moving the rear at all.

Yeah that's what I thought. As soon as I took one of the LCA's off, the rearend shot backwards. Was it supposed to do that?

Just in case you haven't seen this from the BMR web-site, http://www.bmrfabrication.com/instructions/cab001.htm . As for the rear end moving it can move some when removing a LCA, I think it depends if the cars on jackstands, ramps or on a lift how much it moves.

Yeah it was on a lift. I used the instructions on the BMR site along with the ones that came in the box. The pictures on the site really aren't very good, that's why I was looking for some more, so that I could compare it.

It definatly appears that you didn't measure them out properly. The best advice I can think of was already given above...You should have adjusted the brackets so that the lca can fit into all 3 holes without straining too much.

I had a miner problem with mine when I installed them. Mine wheels sat too far forward. I may have miscalculated, or the guy who welded them on for me could have moved them a tad. Either way, I ended up with some G2 adjustable LCAs for a killer price and solved my problem.

You may want to see if you can correct this problem with some adjustable LCAs and if that doesn't work I would cut them off and do it over again.

Should have mentioned this before, but like WILWAXU said, if the rear is not centered, the brackets aren't even in the first place. One is slightly further back (or forward depending on how you look at it) then the other causing the rear to be shifted diagnaly just a tad.

Well luckily I work at a major body shop, so I am going to put it on our frame machine and measure out the wheelbase. I should be able to hook the bracket onto the machine and actually pull it slightly to get everything back in spec. Thanks for your help guys.

the top of the relocation bracket should be welded to the bottom of the original lca mount bracket. Look on the link from that BMR site. Yours has an open space between there.

Not really a big deal, just get some adjustable LCAs now and position the wheel where you want it.
