Default Black Paint after Menzerna Polishing

Here's a pic of the hood in the most direct sunlight I could find. Any imperfection you think you might see is actually in the window that the sun is shining through - the finish comes out that clear. This paint is "unwaxed" meaning it has no sealant or wax on it - it is the finish directly after using a porter cable and Manzerna Intensive and Final polish, wiped off with a 50/50 alcohol water solution to ensure a completely product-free finish. I think the picture justifies why I like Menzerna polishes so much..

And here is the car after that same polish job waxed with two coats of Pinnacle Souveran. You'll notice what I like to refer to as "wetness" and "depth", something I've yet to find this level of in a sealant.

2Kthunder - The polish removes (not hides) the swirls on the car.

Is it a multi-step process? If so what all products do you have to get? Where can you get it and how much. I'd be interested in trying it.

I read about your new Cam Joe - sounds badass - TRex???

Menzerna is a two step polishing process, and you'll need to follow it up with a sealant or wax of your choice. Menzerna is a polish in the realest of terms, meaning that it POLISHES the surface, it does not protect it. I know companies like Zaino and others like to call their products "polish", but I believe that a polish is something with slight abrasive action that burnishes the surface to a mirror shine, not something that seals and protects the paint.

You can get menzerna polishes at www.properautocare.com - it is highly reccomended that you apply with a Porter Cable polisher, as applying them by hand will not break down the abrasives and give you the results you are looking for.

Cool, That other stuff is still on back order, where can I get Menzerna? I still have those links you sent for polishing and I want to get it done. Thanks. And your car is looking top notch btw.

Edit: Do any stores sell Menzerna (like retail, not online.)?

No stores sell menzerna - I believe the only place in the US that imports menzerna is properautocare.com :-)

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Here's a picture of an up-close sun reflection on a yellow car that had been polished out with menzerna.

Again note the fact that the swirls have been removed

And here's one showing the depth that this combo provides even on a color with very little depth to it (bright yellow)
