Default Galveston Railroad Museum

If you like trains and museums, this is well worth the $6 price to get in. Went with the wife and daughter yesterday, snapped about 140 pictures, I will get them published when I down load them from the camera. Go if you are ever in Galveston.

cool thing is you can climb aboard about 1/2 of them. The rest are closed for restoration. Ike ruined a lot of stuff. We spent about 2 hours, self guided tour. They are supposed to open the model train part of the museum sometime in march.

That is a great place to visit. My youngest son loves trains, and when we took him, he was in heaven. Definately a must see when in Galveston. They also usually need volunteers, just FYI.

My wife and I have a bunch of pics from before the hurricane. It was awesome like stepping back into a time capsule. Everything was was still old and original and unfortunately it's only original once.
