Default VFN hoods any good?

i'm thinking of replacing my stock SS hood because it's starting to come apart in the front which really sucks. Anyway i'm thinking about the VFN SS hood thats either 3 or 4 inch raised SS style and i'm curious if anyone has ever seen or bought one of these hoods and what the quility is. Thanks for any info

Is the factory SS hood separation a common thing?

VFN is all over the sport of drag racing, so I'd say they make a good product.

I'm not sure if it's a common thing but the front of my hood is starting to split and the cost of fixing it would come close to the cost of a new hood i think
