Corvette Performance - oil pan question for C5 corvette...

I've been looking for a C6 corvette oil pan for a 02 ZO6 project. A guy offered me an oil pan from a 2011 Camaro with an LS3. I know it will bolt up to the LS6 engine in the 02 ZO6, but will it clear the suspension, etc in the Corvette? Can anyone answer this? Thanks in advance.

Yes it'll fit, it's a much more narrow pan. The bat-wing pan is better though if you want to run a wet-sump.

the Camaro pan looks huge compared to the c6 corvette oil pan. If you don't mind me asking, how do you know it will fit in an 02 z06? Not trying to doubt you, just trying to get a little more info before dropping the coin.

Is there anyway you could take basic measurements of them both? I figure that should give you a rough estimate.

Sorry I thought you wrote 4th gen oil pan. I actually don't know on the 5th gens. There's a decent amount of room down there to fit the stock bat wing.
