only if it might have fouled the plug. Change the plug and chk your connections on your coil packs and wires .

this ^^^, my car was misfiring and my check engine light was on.

I plugged my diagnostic obd2 scanner in, and i had cylinder 8 out..

just replaced the sparg plug and it was fixed..

the plug might of got damaged during the swap or if you reused them it might of fouled out..

and check your spark plug wires, make sure you hear them click when you press them on... grip the boot of the plug wires when applying pressure, if you dont then sometimes it wont click in, even though it still looks connected.

I had a miss fire code after my engine swap. Turned out to be two things: I has damaged the map sensor pig tail, and the intake rocker arm on number 4 had come off and was laying there next to the pedestal
