i have some TEA 243 heads that were just pulled off my car. they have the .660 PRC springs and have around 12,000 miles since the port job. heads themselves came off my car with 21,000 miles. looking to get $1400 plus shipping. i ran a 10.93 with these heads and full bolt ons with a 232/236 580 580 cam. this was done in 1700 DA full weight. here are the build sheets and flow number.

did 469/422 through an auto (converted my z06) and 3.73s. do a search under my name and you can find the dyno sheet. pat g did the tune and it drives like a dream.

I like the heads and am close enough to drive to pick them up but you show a receipt for $1130 new but are asking $1400 after 12k miles? What am i missing?

that was just for the work performed. it does not include the castings and springs. 243 castings usually run for around $500 and the springs go for about $250.

No.. he paid $1130 for the CNC work. The castings alone if someone were to buy those separate and send them to TEA for work are usually $400-550 on here all day. Add the CNC work on top of the castings price and you are at $1630-1780. Then add new springs $200-250 and your at $1830-1980 for this setup. He is asking $1400.. its not that hard to figure out.

Can you PM me how much TEA charged you for the porting etc.? I have 243's with PRC .650 springs and im wanting to send them to TEA for some work. Thanks and GLWS

look at the build sheet in the first post, it has the price break down for all the work done.

heads were done in 4/11/2006...im sure tea charges a little bit more now. the thing with tea is not that they only produce awesome intake flow no's but god damn look at their exhaust numbers thats insane.

to the op i wanted to ask you what size intake runners are they now? 225cc? 235cc??

dont remember but im thinking closer to 225. thanks for the bump. they really are some nice heads.
