Hennessey has made some sketchy builds. As mentioned on another forum I'm on, some of their "craftsmanship" is pretty crappy. I'm not saying they make cars that dont perform, the pics ive seen of some "scary ****" could have been from a mechanic / tech that has since been fired...who knows

I don't have time to type out the whole story but it starts back in 2002/2003 with him taking parts off of other cars to finish/complete other cars... while the first car mentioned sits in the back of the shop for years at a time.
so on and so forth. I think a good bit has changed there but then again, I have never personally had to use the man's shop for anything.

he was a member here as well, and used to post back in maybe '05/'06.
that guy screwed a lot of people over, especially in the old hennessey viper days. You can probably search ls1tech and find threads about him parting out peoples vipers (hoods/wheels/etc). pretty crazy.

I never saw what was so great about hennessey anyways. It was fast and all, but when you twin turbo just about anything and make 700+ HP its kinda hard to NOT be fast...The craftsmanship never looked all that great in the pics either, and not to mention all the bs that happened.
