Florida Members - Muffer shops around Jacksonville?

I need my long tubes and new exhaust installed- I know a lot of people will say do it yourself but I have no experience or idea of how to do it, nor time lol. I just need some recommended mechanics. Thanks guys

A good muffler shop is Rainbow Muffler AKA Muffler Man. Its not just a muffler shop, they do pretty much everything. Just today they designed me a sick removable exhaust (3" True Duals with stainless mandrel bends Dumped w/ a Magnaflow Xpipe and DYnomax bullets). They squeezed the 3" pipe through a gap between my body and custom subframe connectors and body mount torque arm, and it looks really clean. They have 2 guys that do real great exhaust work, the black dude is the bst. However, idk if I would have them do longtubes for me. I would do that myself, lol i know not what you wanna hear. I know they could do it but I'm just anal about my car being done right and handeled carefully

EJ what did that cost you? Rockin the dynomax bullets, that's what I have.

I got the longer bullets, $45 each, and magnaflow x pipe, $90, from Summit. At Rainbow I had them weld flanges after my headers (my headers were welded for some reason) then my cutous that I had then stainless mandrel bends ran between the underbody and the bar that connects my sfc's and right after there is a ball clamp flange. Then stainless to the x then the bullets and a little turn down on the tip. After it was done we took it back off and painted it black and put it back on. They also had to weld the little oval plate that the seatbelt mounts to back to my car because it was broken off on my old setup and thats what my hangar was on. It took from 8:30 to 2:30 and was $375.

i definitely would NOT let a muffler shop install headers on your car.

Not bad. And no to the pump it's either a line or the reg. Is going out. But it's running fine.

a lot of muffler shops will not even touch anything in front of the cats due to federal emission regulations. Go to a performance shop!

Like stated earlier, efi alchemy will do it for about 350 and add about 300 if you want a tune also. I wouldn't trust a muffler shop for that just because they don't really specialize in headers. Definitely not rainbow.. they are a decient exhaust shop but efi is a performance shop

i know you say you dont know how to do them but trust me they are not really that hard to do and you will save a hell of alot of money. there are plenty of write ups for the header install with pictures and you can even post on here need help with header install and ppl sometimes will come to your house and help you install them.
