Default Cam Questions

Got a question for you putting a new cam in my 2000 Ls1 T/A and was thinking of going with the MS4 but was worried about Piston Valve clearance because I'm using the stock heads. Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what I should run in it.

Thanks

Default

the cam i am using in my TA is close in spec @ 238/242 .620 I/E on 112+4 and i had roughly .060 PTV clearance. i would suggest to always check it no matter what cam but the bigger the cam, the less clearance. i did kiss a couple pistons but no real harm done. you might be ok but its hard to tell without checking. im sure others will say the same thing
