just turned my TSP dumps into over the axle duals. also added cats. the sound is a lot less raspy and its actually tolerable at highway speeds now lol.

thanks! haha yea well it was clean but i drove in the rain to get my tranny rebuilt 2 days a go and it got the car all dirty.

i decided to go over the axle because of
1. how it looks
2. better clearance and how an under the axle system behaves when you jack the car up
3. i'm planning on a 9 in. rear end in the future and thought this would make it a little easier
4. got a pretty good deal on it.

2 tips- $100 ebay
2 cats-$90 ebay
panhard relocation-$100 founders
have it all installed-$320

total-$610

if it had already had cats on it already. it would have cost me $440. i would have saved the $90 on the cats and the muffler shop charged me $40 a piece to get them installed.

What kind of headers do you have? I'll have my kooks 1 7/8" headers coming next week and I'm contemplating to do true duals over the axles, I've had true duals dumped before the axles before and they sounded like **** and my wife hated that car, I don't want to make the same mistake lol

Here it us, everything cost me around 700 with labor, wound up selling my GMMG for 300 so I really paid 400 for 3 inch mandrel bent Duals. On this car I'm doing Duals into my SLP dual dual

Look closer, the pipes going into the x were lower than the Mufflers. I hammered the back seat area so that they would tuck up perfectly.

I will be installing stranos in couple weeks and thought about doing this also. I will see my clearance first and decide. I'll use these pics to show the muffler shop what to do in case I need to get it done as well.

Any sound clips before and after??? curious to here the differences in tone. You can PM as well if you'd like.
