Does anybody have pics of how they set up their mid mount plate? The front plate I have now in my jetboat will almost be perfect for the front with minimal modifications, just need an idea of how to design/shape a rear plate since I'm sure it'll put too much stress on the bellhousing on the 4l80.

Look through the chassis catalogs and get an idea from the different designs.
I use different mid-plates on all my cars, so I'm sure they have a design that will work for you.
I'm a big fan of the block saver design, after I ripped the pump out of my trans,
but it might be too big for your space available??
