Best aftermarket heads for a 5.3? Like the title says, what is the best thick deck aftermarket head for a 5.3 bore size? I would assume you would get into shrouding issues if you went too big. Lets hear some thoughts.

Im gonna use the old prc terminators on a 4.8l. Seems like they should work well with the smallish 200cc intake runner. Unless valve shroud becomes an issue...., guess ill find out.

Just to let you know we do a version of the Edelbrock head with a 200cc intake port that we made just for the 5.3.
It can also be upgraded later to the 215 or 245cc version if you end up building a larger motor.
