If you're buying a direct replacement Y-Pipe that connects to the stock manifolds, the sound differences between the different brands will be minimal because they are all the same size.
I have the Stainless Works Y-Pipe on mines that's a direct replacement for the stock Y, I paid about $320 for it and I haven't had any problems out of it yet, been running it for about 6 months or so. I have a Magnaflow Catback behind it, everything else is stock. If you have the means OP, even if you have to wait longer, get some LT's to go with it, I regret not getting a set with the Y-Pipe while I had the chance.
