Default Any 7.4L TBI to L92 swaps out there?

I have a 1993 C3500 dually that I am interested in doing a L92 swap for. It currently has a 7.4L TBI engine in it. The fuel economy sucks, to say the least. At about 10 MPG, I am really contemplating a swap. My goal is more torque than the current 7.4L (380 ft. lbs) and anything better than 10 MPG for fuel economy. Has anyone out there done such a swap? What was the fuel economy before and after? Thanks for your input...

I'm curious as well,I would lean more to a Cummins 12V swap in one of these trucks,I would like to compare the pros/cons of either swap as a quick glance puts the costs/effort as comparable.

Should be pretty straight forward.

it says for half ton trucks, i'm sure if you give them a call they can hook you up with something for a 1 ton or at least point you in the right direction.

ignore that your swapping from a TBI, it would be the same as swapping from a "normal" 454 to a L92. I swapped from a TBI 5.7L(originally a 283 car) to a LQ4... same as a 350 to LQ4 swap.
