Default quest for power with mpg's

what are you guys averaging mpg with a s/c, either centrifigul or roots, in a ls 4th gen. thinking of FI, but not wanting to go turbo. are you able to retain near stock mpg's driving conservatively or is it about truck mpg's.

Mine still gets the same 21mpg it did when stock while running 70-75 down the interstate but when the boost comes in the gas guage goes down rather quickly. I drive mine 110 miles a day 4 days a week BTW...
