Default 6.0 h/c combo

hey guys its been alittle while since i have been on here. as some of u know im building a 6.0 for my 98 trans am after the ls1 bit the dust. i got the body done on the car finaly. so now i am starting on the engine. im going to be using stock short block, 317 heads (dont have the money for new heads), not sure on cam, and a ls6 intake or a fast not sure yet. so my question is......

what should i mill heads and what head gasket to run to be about stock compression, likw 10.6ish or higher if i can.

problem: i want to run a pretty nasty cam like ms4 or somthing like that but dont want to have to worry about P-2-V clearance so that limits my milling the heads

what should i do lol im no good at this tech stuff. i just want it to run good with no problems and be nasty. im kinda runnin low on cash after doing the body work so any help would be great

you can get a custom cam for $25 more from Patrick-G or a few other cam experts on here.

I would run your ls1 heads on the 6.0...they flow bout the same as your 317s and you will pic up compression with the smaller chambers

Pat-G could advise you on what to do to the heads, how much to mill them what gasket to use.I would get a valve job if the the valve seats leak any or if there is more then 50k on the heads.tell him what you have and your goals and he will help you out.read some of his threads.
