Default Lingenfelter lnc-2000 launch control wiring?

So I hooked up the timing retard function in about 2 mins. I'm just going to run a power wire from my nitrous activation switch to the orange wire for the timing retard, but how do I hook up the green and yellow wires so the launch control will work? Do I just need a ground and power for it to work also? Could I just run it off a switch like a nitrous activation switch works also?

The launch control function can be activated by 12v (yellow wire) or ground (green wire). Do not hook up both wires.

There are several different ways you can activate the launch control. You can wire it into a clutch switch (manual trans), brake switch, trans brake, you could even use a momentary toggle by itself.

PM me, email, or call me at the shop (260-724-2552 ext 1004)if you have any further questions.

Thank you,
Ryan

Yes, you can run it off of a switch, but do not hook up both power and ground. Use one or the other for activation.

I have a nitrous outlet switch. Could I take a little wire and y it off my nitrous switch power wire to a switch to activate the launch control?

Why not run the activation for the LNC off the nitrous activation button/switch?

If you use the nitrous activation button/switch for the activation for the LNC you will activate the rev limiter function on the box when you arm your nitrous. Is this what you are asking? Or are you asking about splicing a separate switch into the nitrous activation switch?

Im talking about y'ing it off the incoming power wire to the nitrous switch to a 2 prong switch. So the nitrous switch would not have to be activated and I wouldn't have to run a whole other power line.

The activation switch...the actual button you press to open the solenoids...why not just splice the LNC activation wire to that wire?

Are you talking about the 2-step or the timing retard? He said he has the timing retard already hooked up and now he is wiring the launch control side of it. Again, if you splice the launch control wire into the activation of the solenoids you will activate the rev limiter when your solenoids open.

The yellow wire just needs to see a 12v source to activate, so yes that should work.

Please call me at the shop so that we can discuss a couple of different things though. 260-724-2552 ext 1004.

Thanks,
Ryan

Look man. If you want it to cut on with a switch and only work when your nitrous does, Get a switch with 3 prongs on the back. One prong will be for switched 12v input, one will be a ground input and the other will be the accessory for what device(s) you want 12v sent to so when the switch is in the on position, in this case your 2-step/timing retard and nitrous it will work. Use relays or an interuppter to set it up where the nitrous can't come on while at wot on the 2 step I've heard people say it sounds like a shotgun going off on the 2 step if the nitrous is engaged.

There are diagrams all over the internet of how to wire up 2-steps/step retards/transbrakes/line-locs etc. in series with relays so that they all work in harmony the way they should at the right times.

I got the lingenfelter all hooked up and it was incredibly easy! Took about 5 mins total to hook up both the launch control and timing retard... I will post pics and a vid of the launch control (2-step) in action. The 2-step sounds badass! This is a great product, very easy to install, and is worth every penny.

I'm glad to hear that you got it all hooked up!

I’ve tried running a switch from battery to button switch I mounted behind clutch pedal, and it continues to work as should for a day or so then all the sudden it stops deactivating I unplugged everything but the coils and it continued to stay activated- help
