Cool guy, beat him twice the weekend before but this time he got tires and I didn't. ended with my front bumper next to his rear bumper.

Enjoy

Thanks! and oh yeah, 5.0 is M6, I don't know gears and it just has a roush catback. Once his cold air and tuner comes in I will not be able to beat him.

I'm rolling on all seasons now, can't afford $400 oil changes when I had the drag radials while trying to save money to get this thing cammin'!

You're only running intake, exhaust and tune. I'm running the same mods making 360whp and I definitely dont need DRs to keep traction. Do you really need them? Save yourself the money and buy longer lasting tires that still grip. Then take that money and put it towards your cam!

Your Ford don't make enough torque; that's why.

Lol so what magic tires are you running?

I'm in the same boat as him and I'll tell you that DR's help out quite a bit. Never need them in second gear, but if your doing a lot of dig and 1st gear runs it changes a bit. Not to mention the weather getting colder doesn't help traction. Is the video not enough proof itself?

I run the 555R and I've got about 6k out of them and they're life is almost over. That is with about 30 track passes though.

I don't run on my dr's all the time. I'm on my winter set-up now. I have a few sets of r-compound road race tires that my car spends most of it's time on. I usually get about 8000 miles out of those.
