I have an 06 5.3 that I'm putting in a 1912 roadster, open engine bay. I would like to run a short body air filter directly from the throttle body. Can the computer be tuned to run without the MAF sensor?

Ok, talked to Jess at wait4me, he said no problem, just requires a more precise tune, which by the way he does well, so by by MAF sensor.

Yes you can, it's called a speed density tune. Just need an external IAT sensor.

Ever thought of going with a single plane intake and a 4150 style throttle body? Might look a little better in the roadster. You can then use a traditional air cleaner.
