ok so a friend of mine has a 98 ws6 and his tranny just went out hes asking 3300 or 4000 with a rebuild tranny with a year of warranty tha car has 140000 miles its in really good condition the motor runs strong doesnt have a knock or a tick

I can't give you an exact number but they are good for well over 140k. As long as regular maintenance was done oil, filter ect... I say buy it.
