Default Ls7 Build

I recently bought a ls7 long block that dropped the #7 exhaust valve and slightly cracked the sleeve. I've already had the heads fixed and ported. Now I'm looking at options of how to build it. I'm looking for 600rw just wondering what I'm looking at to get there. Like aftermarket heads or stay with the stock ones. Also I'm not wanting to go back with the dry sump so I'll need a crank.

Just looking for some opinions on how to set it up for basically a max effort n/a radical street strip car.

I would look at installing new 4.185 sleeves and building a 44x short block to match your rebuilt heads. Go with a new 4 inch stroke rotating assembly and sell off your TI rods to recover some of the money. With the right cam and intake selection, you can achieve your goals with mail order parts

Talk to a builder like Eric at hke or Virginia speed. I did a erl block build and bought some parts that I shouldn't of after talking to eric. We did get it together and I made my 600 rwhp goal. I was going to go 440 cube ended up going 454. Wish I would of went bigger 468. Good luck with your build.

Yeah that looks like the route that I'll be going with the build. I'll be droping the block off at hke this week to be resleeved.

Yeah I'll be dropping the block off at hke this week looking to have a set of darton mid sleeves installed. Can you give me some specs on your 454 also what heads did you go with?
