I just bought this with the fuel rails injectors and Throttle body

Does it have bigger injectors and is the throttle body any different than my stock LS1 intake Its missing sensors on the TB he said the car had 40 000 miles when he took it off. :-))

Can anyone guide me in the right direction for a very good TB port and polish spot It seems to be 1 mod that peopel like and feel in the throttle responce

Thanks again

The guy on eBay has the best quality and deal...I forget his name but just type in ls1/ls6 polish throttle body...personally I think it is a mod you can do by yourself for way less...there are a lot of walkthroughs and how to's out there...

Use that port and polish money to get yourself some headers or something like that you would enjoy a lot more...

I forgot to ask due you have a cable operated tb?

How sure are you that you got an ls6 intake? I almost bought an ls1 intake thinking it was ls6 just because it didn't have the egr port. Check the part numbers.

Same injectors and I answered your questions in your other thread. ^^^jbrid...no need to check part numbers. If the bottom is flat it is an LS6 if it is V shaped it is LS1. GM used a bunch of different part #'s so if it is off the car it is simple to tell...

I believe only the z06 vettes had the ls6 intake. But I could be totally wrong, because 2002 f-bodies did have the ls6. Get a picture of the under side of the intake if it's flat, it is an ls6

My 04 c5 came with an ls6 from the factory. I think they decided to put them in all vettes after a certain year, Idk the year though...

Thanks man. Yeah try to get that picture before you complete the transaction. Don't want to get scammed for sure. Get a pic of the bottom, and I would still do the part number as well.

2001 and up corvettes and camaros ALL got ls6 intakes...all you got to do is look and see if the intake has an egr provision in it, bc ls6 intakes don't have the egr provision

corvette intakes never had the egr provision, which makes them prime candidates for scamming people thinking that is the only difference.

They have an upgrade for our cars from 98-00 like the 2001 to 2002 I wonder I f its worth it.... Plus the port opening of the ls1 and ls6 is the same size why is it better internal flow?

basically he was right lol. every ls1 car from 01-up had the ls6 intake whether it be corvette gto or fbody. and unless you go to an ls6 pcv system then no i wouldnt waste time upgrading. the stock ls1 pcv sucks no matter which year you have. if you get an ls6 valley cover to go with your intake then yes it might be worth it otherwise just get a catchcan

Any reason you bought this setup with fuel rails injectors and TB? You know everything you have swaps right over right?

It was the same price with or without and these are 28.8lbs injectors instead of 26lbs
