Default What size exhasut pipes?

I have a lq4 with duel plane carb intake, FAST ez efi, smaller cam in it. I have factory manifolds now but i am about to order headers. What size pipes would be best 2.5s or 3 inch. Both will be duels. Both will be made buy local shop if it matters. thanks

Use 3 inch. Leave yourself room to grow.

I will use a h pipe unless the exhaust builder can do a x. Is there any gains between h and x. I do plan to upgrade the heads one day then maybe a 421 short block long time from now.
