Generation IV External Engine - Dumped Exhaust...

What muffler do people usually use when the dump their exhaust before the axle? Right now I have true duals and will be getting a cam put in soon. I know it will be loud and I'm not worried about it. Just curious about the setups people are running.

The biggest issue is space, which will usually dictate the basic design of the muffler. from there it is sound preference.

yep mine is very loud.TSP dumps with bullet mufflers. Lowest area are my tips. No problems currently but lowering as soon as my springs come in so we'll see if I need to adjust them. I think the bullets are the loudest because there is basically no restriction in them.

B-e-a-utiful sounding maro you got there man!.. What are the cam specs? I have a playlist on YouTube containing a bunch of videos of cars, mostly LS powered cars with nice sounding cams... had to add your video hah. Love the billet grille too.

sorry guys been not feeling well all weekend. I do appreciate all the comments though!! Cam is a TSP 233/239 113lsa. I love the way it sounds and drives great on the street! I actually painted the billet grill black(was getting chipped up) and I think know I am going to change it to the painted SS grilles.

going to be installing my springs and rear suspension one of these weekends and will post up pics with ground clearances and measurements and a new video clip as well.

it looks okay it just has some rough edges from rock chips and what not. Been on the car for awhile now

I love the way your car sounds hopefully getting that cam put in this weekend mines on 112 lsa so I guess that means it'll have a bit more of a choppy idle. Can't wait lol

i actually ordered a 112 but they shipped cam with a 113. I was excited to install it and couldn't wait. Very happy with it though. Good luck w/yours. Post up a vid and pics once your done!!!

Im really hoping for this weekend but maybe not until next payday. But I will get videos up when done.
