good valvespring for 18-20lbs of boost and a zr1 cam?
ive been using PRC's for alot of projects, but they are 300 bones, i have no complaints other than the price, i am sure i could be using something not so crazy. or am i doing it right?
ive seen lots of trickflow's iwth 130lbs of seat pressure and a set of comp duals for like 200 with 140lbs of seat pressure both rated around .600 lift.
a few of springs are out of stock like the comps and patriot's till the end of the month and i wanna start this project this weekend, so its leading me to wonder if some 120-140lb seat mild duals will be fine, and will they use stock retainers and cups?
what are you guys using and how much were they?
zr1 cam going in a stock 5.3 with a 70mm

Those TFS springs you found look a little stronger, but the O.D. is bigger, makes me wonder if they fit in the head and can use stock retainers?! Is this for the Fairmont? There are going to be alot of junkyard turbo cars at Island this year!
The cam in my Monza/LQ4 is a 216/561, only revving 6000-6200, doesnt dyno for ****, Denmah dynoed it even(small world!) but ran 144-145mph at 3300# a few times so couldnt have been floating the valves, never stopped pulling. I seem to have better luck with the beehives than other people, or maybe the Pacs are just really magical
Probably good thing you sold that Monza, total nightmare finding a decent rear for them!

If you're going to run a single beehive run the PAC 1518 or 1519 over the 1218's, not much difference in price and a lot higher quality spring. You really should be around 160-170lbs on the seat with that much boost, especially if your back pressure is going to be high.
WS6Hummer Was that the intake or exhaust valves that hit the piston? Intake valve if I'm looking at the pic correctly.
Thanks
