MS3 cam
OK, I'm going to pick up an LS1 this weekend. The engine currently has a Texas Speed MS3 cam in it. TS recommends at least a 3500 stall for this cam. I'm putting this engine into a 68 C10 pickup and will probably put a 700R4 behind it. The truck currently weighs about 3500 lbs with an iron sbc and TH350. Of course, that's before my fat butt gets in it.
The problem I'm running into is that my truck is mainly just a street cruiser. I don't plan to street race or drag race it. I will more than likely do some autocrossing in it. Will this cam be a good choice for a mild street engine, or would I be better off with the TS224 cam and running a tight 2600 stall?

the truck weighs more then 3500 lbs.the tsp 224r cam with a wide LSA would work nicewith a small stall and a truck intake if you don't have a ls6 intake.I like comp cam 54-455-11 ,more torque.

What about running around on highways and interstates(60-80mph)?
I think I may sell the MS3 and get something different. Maybe the TS 220 "sleeper" cam, but with a 111 LSA. I'll probably put a carb on this engine as well.
